Participants will join fellow computer science and STEM colleagues for a day of tips and tricks, sharing lesson ideas, and resources. The day’s agenda will be created by participants’ interests collected prior to the workshop.

Scratch That!

Students can use Scratch to create their own interactive stories, games, and animations, while learning to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively. A free programming language and online community, Scratch can be utilized in stand-alone technology classes or integrated into both core and special subject areas. Participants will learn how to create programs, make animations and games and solve programming problems with Scratch 3.0. In addition, participants will learn how to manage classrooms and studios as well as grade assignments using Scratch.
